Due to some problems with their management, Zita Swoon’s previous album ‘Big City’ was not released in France. When they found a new label/distributor (Discograph) they decided to release the album in France, including some new recordings and extras, and calling it ‘Big Blueville’. They also released the album in Benelux, with an edition of just 5000 copies.
Tracks 1 to 5, 7 & 10 recorded December 1, 13, 2008.
Tracks 6 & 8 recorded June 21, 22, 2008 at Reanimator, Borgerhout.
Track 9 recorded January 10, 2008 at the Rabbitfield, Hoboken.
Mixed at Farside, Paris except 6, 8 instrumental mixed at Reanimator, Borgerhout.
Mastered at Kabel, Vlierzele.
